For every topic Teacher Aaron will create a separate WeChat group for both the students and the student’s parents. This group will be used by the students to discuss the topic and ask Teacher Aaron questions outside of the lesson. Teacher Aaron will also use this group to post supplemental information such as articles, videos and photos related to the topic!
老师会根据课程不同章节内容，分别创建不同的微信群，群内包括学生和家长。学生 们可以在这个群里讨论课程内容，以及在课后时间里向 Aaron 老师提问。 老师也会在内发一些补充内容，比如与课程相关的文章、视频以及图片。

Just like in a normal school, if a student misses a lesson it still counts as one of the lessons that they purchased. When a lesson is missed the student should communicate via the topic’s WeChat group in order to obtain slides, key terms and other material from the lesson they missed. Teacher Aaron will provide everything the student needs to catch up from the missed lesson but it is the student’s own responsibility to ask for this information. It is not recommended that a student miss more than two lessons per unit.

Options include SAT & AP test preparations, IGCSE test preparations, Checkpoint exam preparations, intermediate-advanced writing courses, tuition to assist students with their current school subjects etc...

The length of each topic varies. When I post sign-ups it will include the minimum number of lessons in the topic. It is my hope that once a student signs up for a topic that they would continue until the topic’s completion.

For each topic an estimate on the total number of lessons will be provided. We cannot provide an exact number of lessons because we differentiate based on the needs of each group. In the regular schools your child attends each weekday, the teachers must fit their curriculum into set periods of time and must prepare students for specific standardized tests. At History Made Fun we are not confined by these constraints. Our goal instead is to make learning fun and exciting in order to instill a passion for history and geography in our students! If this means we spend a bit more time talking about a topic that interests the students or spend more time explaining a difficult to understand concept, then for us, that is great!

For every topic a student signs up for, they should purchase at least 10 lessons. After these 10 lessons have been completed, the student would continue to purchase lessons in batches of at least 10 at a time until the topic is completed.

Yes, each topic is broken up into units. At the completion of every unit there will be an opportunity for additional students to join the topic.

At History Made Fun we keep our class sizes small and every lesson is taught personally by Teacher Aaron (unless otherwise stated). Therefore, in order to be fair to all our students and to ensure the continuity of our lessons we must abide by the following standards:
*Lessons are only valid for the particular topic and cohort for which they were purchased.
*Lessons may not be transferred from one student to another.
*Lessons are non-refundable.
*However, if there are extenuating circumstances then please contact us and we will do our best accomodate you.
