-Students will develop essential academic skills such as note-taking, test preparation
and summarization.
- Students will learn how to use learning in a group environment to their advantage. This includes respecting their peers and collaborating with them during group
activities and projects.
-Students will be able to create their own questions about histprical topics and use
learned skills to hypothesize possible answers.
-Students will examine primary sources discerningly and be able to determine
possible bias within the sources.
-Students will be able to conduct inquiries into geographical questions using a variety
sources and techniques.
-Students will be expected to conduct themselves in a fashion that will help both
themselves and their classmates to succeed. This includes participating proactively in
each lesson, being attentive in class, not being disruptive, being respectful of their
peers and teacher, and working collaboratively with their classmates.
-Students will be able view and understand cultures from the past without bias no
matter how much said culture differs from their own
